11 years of my photography, 11 years of gathering gear, few weeks ago I've realized I have too much. I mean, what's the point in having over twenty Canon lenses, and using 2-3 all the time? What's the point in having two cameras for fast journalistic style photography, when my last asignment as a reporter dates back in 2010? What's good in having about 12 strobes, and using 4-6 at most?
Anyway, long story shorts, I've sold most of it, and bought some in return. Nice deal, if you ask me, and I ended up having
Two cameras:
Canon 5D mkII - primary camera for most works
Canon 7D - backup, plus "free" 1,6 teleconverter if I need one
Four lenses:
Canon 17-40/4L
Canon 35/1,4L
Sigma 70-200/2,8 OS
Canon 100/2,8L IS
Four flashes:
2x580EXII
2x430EXII
And one big:
Panther Mini
6 Pocket wizards to trigger all those lights
Two softboxes, one keylite, umbrellas, stands, tripod, few bags and cases... And that's all I need.
Suddenly, my gear list appears to fit on small piece of paper, not a huge book.
Now it's time to find some new asignments... Not so easy this days :/
